Welcome to 2020!
On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff, we wish you a Happy New Year and want to thank you for being a valuable member of the SDCBA. A new year is a time for renewed energy and resolutions, and I hope you’ll resolve to increase your engagement and visibility within the SDCBA community.
On that note, I invite you to get involved by applying to serve on one of our committees. A new committee application process was created by the SDCBA Board to enhance the opportunities for SDCBA members to participate in committees and to provide additional transparency in how committees are filled. Serving on a committee is an excellent way to contribute to the SDCBA community, gain volunteer experience, grow your leadership skills, and expand your network while leveraging your unique talents and perspectives for the good of the community. The (recently extended) deadline to submit your resume and letter of interest is Friday, January 24, 2020 at noon. To help San Diego voters make informed decisions in judicial elections, the SDCBA’s Judicial Election Evaluation Committee (JEEC) is evaluating candidates in this year’s contested judicial elections.
