Coffee with Counsel
The Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) program of the SDCBA is looking for attorneys to participate in its weekly Coffee with Counsel program, which consists of informational videos to educate the public on common questions that they may have about different areas of law. LRIS seeks attorneys who are interested in participating in this event. The topics vary each week and the hosts ask attorneys about five general questions about the topic. These videos, which are posted on social media, the LRIS You Tube channel, and the SDCBA website, are great exposure for your practice. Each video has had an average of 400 views on social media per topic. Time commitment is about 30 minutes and videos will be shared with the attorney.
Spanish-Speaking Attorneys on Local Radio
LRIS is also looking for Spanish-speaking attorneys to participate in local radio shows. In 2020, the LRIS program started working with local Spanish-speaking radio shows and producing informational interviews with disc jockeys. The local shows are designed to educate the public on common questions that they may have about different areas of law. The LRIS program tapes a weekly program for the public and posts the interviews on social media, the LRIS You Tube channel, and the SDCBA website. We are looking for attorneys who are interested in participating in this event. The topics vary each week and the disc jockeys ask attorneys around five general questions about the topic. These interviews, which are posted on the radio station’s main website as well as the SDCBA’s website and social media, are great exposure for your practice. Time commitment is about 5-10 minutes and interviews will be shared with the attorney.
