Dear Members,
As San Diego County businesses slowly begin to reopen, we have carefully considered when and how to resume operations at the SDCBA’s offices and Bar Center. We know how much our beautiful space means to our members – as a place to congregate, work, and network. Unfortunately, at this time, we don’t believe it is advisable to open our space for these broader purposes. Furthermore, the Safe Reopening Plan issued by San Diego County mandates that telework opportunities must be maximized and, therefore, our staff will continue working and providing member services remotely. We plan to re-evaluate these decisions at the end of June and will communicate with you all at that time.
As you make decisions for your own business, we hope you find helpful the resources we’ve compiled in the “Reopening Your Business” section on our website’s COVID-19 Legal Community Updates and Resources page. The page includes helpful guidelines as well as government health and safety information. And, if you haven’t seen it yet, we’ve also compiled a list of fun virtual travel, arts, and entertainment opportunities, which you can find here. Enjoy!
We continue to be inspired by the amazing level of member engagement with the variety of virtual programs we are offering. From MCLEs to technology and law practice management webinars to Court Updates and virtual happy hours, you are showing up, learning, and continuing to create community. We are committed to providing unique, relevant programs and events throughout this challenging time. And we are confident that our members and our community will be stronger as a result of our collective efforts.
Thank you for your membership, support, and continued patience.
